Simpson Bay has one of the more recent beach bar/restaurants to open since Irma.
This secluded beach spot has the charm of old Simpson Bay; there is great food, good drinks and charming waitstaff.
It is very small and there is not much available space for parking (it is suggested on busy days, like the weekends, one should park near the police dock.)
There are some lounging areas both under a roof in front of the bar and on the beach chairs
There is also a dining area, also roofed
The quaintness of the old wooden building/house lends to the great ambiance
Lunch for us ladies!
Chicken sandwich and homefries
Above is quite possibly the best hamburger on island. The meat patty is handmade, big, fat and juicy (and this is from a non-hamburger lover!)
The vegan burger on the other hand was pretty non-descript!
Chicken and chips had a nice sauce
The shrimp had a very good garlic sauce on it.
This steak was quite large and filling and the person who ordered it pronounced it good.
Thanks for the report and pics. Will try it out in the next couple weeks
