The 10th Annual SXM Bike Fest dates are set for November 8 to the 11th
Caribbean Eagles, the St. Maarten HOG Chapter, and First Response are pleased to be able to bring this event to the island for another year. Caribbean Eagles president Jane Therond-Netto and the rest of the CE board is calling upon all local riders, including street bikes, or any motorcycle of any kind to come and join in the festivities and welcome the Overseas riders to St. Maarten.
Bikers from around the Caribbean will be on the register line up including riders from:
Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Barth’s, Marie Galant. Bikers from St. Croix, Santo Domingo, Suriname are also set to participate.
This year bikers from Monaco, Paris, Canada, Luxemburg and the USA are planning on attending too.
Monday, November 12th, 2018: After party at the club for those that are still on the Island.
Registrations Fees: Complete package US$ 45/members – non members US$ 60
One day package: US$ 25 /members – non members US$ 30
Registration will begin:
4pm at the Caribbean Eagles clubhouse on Orange Grove Road in Cole Bay on Thursday November 8 for riders already on the island.
Those riders arriving on Friday the November 9 can register from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.
Bikers that are signed up already will begin the weekend with a Sunset ride to enjoy the beauty of St. Maarten. After the ride will return to the Club in Orange Grove to enjoy the Welcome Party with food, shows and live music.
Saturday the Club House in Cole Bay opens at 11.00 am.
The Around-the-Island ride will begin promptly at 11.30 am.
Lunch, games and and dancing will take place at Karakter Beach and participants will then ride again and end at the Telem Parking lot, where there will be a car show.
At 7pm the Club will once again be the meeting place for many activities including a wet tshirt contest, Control Band, shows.
On Sunday bikers will meet at the clubhouse
11:00am for the final ride which will begin at 11:30 am.
Bikers will meet up with the car rally and ride one part of their route with them, after which they will head to Emilio’s, here at the zip line discounted group rates have been arranged for those who have a head for heights.
At 7pm the Club House will be the scene of much activity including:
Great music to enjoy; the fun and exciting Jello Wrestling; the prize giving ceremony and a surprise.
Please take note – it is very important to sign up for the Steepest Zip line in the World on Thursday or Friday – you will find all the info in your welcome bags.
Please be aware that International riding rules are used, and helmets are required, those without helmets will not be permitted to ride with the group.
Caribbean Eagles promotes safe riding and requests that all automobile drivers on the island will take special care when driving that weekend as there will be many bikes on the road. No wheelies or burn-out allowed during the rides. At the end of the Fest we will have a burn-out competition.
The 10th Annual Bike Fest is a great celebratory event and the Caribbean Eagles are excited to be share this milestone with all the local riders of St. Maarten as well as with those from around the World.
Due to lack of transportation for the bikes from Aruba there is an urgent need for some extra rental bikes. If you have a bike that you will not be riding in the bike fest but are interested in renting out to a biker brother, please call tel:1(721)5207015.
Caribbean Eagles is pleased to organize this event for the island. This event is great stimulation to the economy in these tough economic times. Please join them in making this the best bike fest to date.
Because of lack of rentals, there will be a bus organized to follow the complete event.

11.00 – Meet at the Club for Ride around the Island
12.30 – Lunch at Karakter (Ticket included) with famous DJ and Games on the beach.
15.00 – Ride again (going to a car show at Telem parking)
20.00 – Dance Party at the Club& dinner (included) with the number one band: Control Band – do not miss the Jello wrestling – it will be amazing fun!
